Dr. Masterson is co-founder of Tessera Inc. in Seattle. He has a distinguished 21-year research and development background in biotechnology. His management experience includes business development with Fortune 50, 100 & 500 companies including Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Block Drug and others. Dr. Masterson has held senior management positions including Vice President of Research & Development for Q-pharma, Inc. (Edmonds, WA) and Skin Biology, Inc. (Bellevue, WA) He has invented new, patented biotechnology products, and has experience with FDA approval processes for drug and diagnostic products. Most recently, he was Scientific Director at Genelex Corporation (Seattle, WA), a nationally recognized DNA testing facility. Dr. Masterson was formerly a Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute (Cologne, Germany) and was in charge of a molecular and cellular biology research group. He has a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology from Iowa State University and has a B.S. in Microbiology from University of Washington.

Mr. Pia, at an executive level, has over 25 years of industrial business experiences in directing and managing all aspect of business in the agricultural sector of the food industry. As founder and President of South Mill Mushroom Sales, Mr.Pia has a leadership role for nearly 800 employees with business revenue's exceeding 50 million dollars a year. Through his innovative leadership and business experiences, he has been involved in bringing the latest advanced technology to the United States mushroom industry and as a result, has maximized the quality and production criteria for that industry while significantly improving the business revenues.
Mr. Allan Moen is a senior international business consultant with more than twenty-four years of management and fund raising experience. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the mining industry and has raised significant funds internationally, including the US, Canada and China. Mr. Moen has his own international business company in China and has provided additional consultant services to the private and public companies in USA and Canada. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Moen has invested in many start-up companies and he is a great believer of Life Systems Corp’s Technology. Mr. Moen, through his business management and fund raising experiences and with his international business connections in North America and China, plays a significant role in Life Systems Corp fund-raising activities. Mr. Moen has Bachelor of Science degree in history and economics from University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
