As a founder and entrepreneur, Dr Sadri possesses a broad scientific knowledge in biomedical field and two decades of industrial experiences in managing and directing biotech companies. Dr. Sadri has hands on experience in cardiovascular research, isolated organ perfusion, cell culture, histology, microbiology, immunology and the designing of biomedical devices. In addition, he has a certification and wealth of knowledge in FDA regulations and ICH compliance for drug approval.
In 1977, Dr Sadri, having received his BS degree in biological sciences specialized in microbiology and awarded an 8-year First-Rank Honor scholarship from Iranian Ministry of Higher Education, was admitted to University of Akron, Ohio and awarded MS of physiology and histology, in 1980. In 1984, Dr Sadri earned his Ph.D. in cardiovascular and exercise physiology from Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities of College of Medicine in Kent and Rootstown Ohio. Following his Ph.D. degree, he was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from Biomedical Engineering Institute of University of Akron, Ohio and American Heart Association and was recognized as a Post Doctoral Fellow of the Year by Engineering Department of University of Akron.
Dr Sadri, as founder or co-founder, has established several companies in Seattle area including Bio-Preserve Medical Corporation, MedCam, Inc., and Vivo Solutions, Inc. and he has held positions as Director, President & CEO. He was directly involved in marketing and sales, developing financial forecasts, raising capital, and managing the company’s intellectual property. He has been awarded several patents in the field of organ preservation and perfusion and has been published many times in the field of cardiovascular research.
