Redmond, Washington Feb. 3, 2005 - Life Systems Corp (“LIFS”), a small biomedical company located in Redmond, Washington, is in the business of providing solutions for the treatment of organ failure, particularly heart failure, and the Company trades on the Pink Sheets (pinksheets.com) under the symbol of LIFS.

The Company has been dormant and in a non-operational mode for the last two years. However, as a result of the work of major investors Mr. Allan Moen and Mr. John Pia, Life Systems Corp is now pleased to announce the successful restructuring of the Company and the revitalization of its operations. Following the appointment of Mr. John Pia to the Board of Directors and the following resignation of its previous Board of Directors, Mr. Moen and Mr. Pia took extraordinary steps to secure the proprietary technology, the corporate facilities, and the Company’s chief scientist.

Under the directorship of Mr. John Pia, the Board of Life Systems Corp was agumented with the appointment of Mr. Allan Moen to the position of Director in October, 2004. Mr. Pia and Mr. Moen thereafter invited Dr. Pidgeon to join the Board of Directors, and with his acceptance, Board moved ahead to appoint Dr. Fereydoon Sadri and Dr. Robert Masterson to the Board of Directors in January, 2005. Life Systems Corp is now pleased to announce the full appointment of its Board of Directors and the subsequent shareholder election thereof, of Mr. Allan Moen, Director and Chairman, Mr. John Pia, Director, Dr. Robert Masterson, Director, Dr. Fereydoon Sadri, Director, and Dr. Stephen Pidgeon, Director and Corporate Secretary, effective January 6, 2005.

Life Systems Corp, upon lengthy review and extensive negotiation, has now secured the services of its executive staff and other personnel. The Company is pleased to announce the reinstatement of Dr. Fereydoon Sadri, scientist and inventor, as its Chief Executive Officer and President; and the instatement of Dr. Stephen Pidgeon, as its Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. The Company has also secured staff in its engineering, sales and marketing, product development, IT, and financial control areas.
